What a certified diamond ring costs, by carat

The table covers every centre-stone weight we offer, from one carat to three: the lowest price at each weight, and the price at or below which three-quarters of the designs at that weight sit.

Centre stone Lab-grown (PKR) Natural (PKR) Designs
1.00 carat 302,000 – 378,000 717,000 – 1,208,000 265
1.50 carat 325,000 – 466,000 1,319,000 – 2,564,000 262
2.00 carat 448,000 – 561,000 2,652,000 – 4,936,000 262
2.50 carat 532,000 – 791,000 3,389,000 – 5,730,000 262
3.00 carat 656,000 – 946,000 4,428,000 – 6,588,000 262

Complete rings in 18K gold, made to order. Centre stones start at one carat. "Designs" counts the different ring designs available at that centre-stone weight. The cheapest complete ring of any kind, at about PKR 212,000, is set with small diamonds and has no centre stone.

What actually sits inside that number

A diamond ring is three separate costs, and a fair seller will name all three before you pay.

  1. The stone. Priced on carat weight, colour, clarity and cut, against an independent laboratory report. Two one-carat stones can differ threefold in price on those grades alone, which is why "one carat" on its own is not a price.
  2. The gold, by weight. On 26 September 2026, 24-karat gold in Pakistan was quoted at PKR 450,936 per tola. A tola is 11.664 grams, so that is about PKR 38,700 a gram pure, and 18-karat gold is 750 parts per thousand of it — roughly PKR 29,000 a gram. A slim band weighing 3 grams therefore carries about PKR 87,000 of gold before a single diamond is set.
  3. The making charge. The labour of building the ring, quoted either per gram or as a percentage of the gold value. This is the line most often folded into a single total, and the one worth asking for separately.

Ask any jeweller for those three numbers and a report for the exact stone. Where a quote cannot be broken apart, you are not comparing prices, you are comparing confidence.

Why published prices in Pakistan disagree so wildly

Search for a diamond ring price in Pakistan and you will find one-carat figures from under PKR 200,000 to over PKR 4,000,000, often on pages with no date on them. Most of that spread is not disagreement about the market. It is four different things being measured:

  • Total carat weight versus the centre stone. A ring described as "1.24 carat" is often a cluster of small stones adding up to that weight. A one-carat centre stone is a different object at a different price.
  • Lab-grown quoted as though it were natural. At one carat, our own catalogue starts at roughly PKR 302,000 lab-grown against PKR 717,000 natural. A page that does not say which it is has told you nothing.
  • Gold weight left out. Two identical stones in a 3-gram band and a 6-gram band are about PKR 87,000 apart on metal alone.
  • Undated pages. Gold in Pakistan moves daily — on 16 September 2026 alone it fell by PKR 4,000 a tola. A price without a date is a guess about a past market.

Lab-grown or natural, in rupees

They are the same material, with the same hardness and the same look; one grew in the ground and one grew in a machine, and a laboratory can tell them apart. What differs for a Pakistani buyer is the size the budget reaches. About PKR 410,000 reaches a two-and-a-half-carat lab-grown centre stone in our catalogue; the same money reaches a natural centre stone of about half a carat, and a one-carat natural stone starts at about PKR 717,000. Neither answer is the right one for everybody: a natural stone holds a scarcity a grown stone does not, and a grown stone puts a visibly larger ring on the hand for the same money.

Carats, tolas and grams

Three units get mixed up constantly in Pakistani searches, and the confusion is expensive.

  • A carat is a weight of the diamond, 0.2 grams. It is not a measure of gold purity, even though gold is often described as "24 carat".
  • Karat, spelled with a k, is gold purity. 24K is pure; 18K, what we use, is 75% gold.
  • A tola is 11.664 grams, and gold in Pakistan is quoted per tola. Diamonds are never sold per tola or per gram — a "one-gram" ring in the local market usually means gold-plated imitation jewellery, not a diamond ring.
  • Why 18K and not 21K or 22K. Most gold jewellery in Pakistan is 21 or 22 karat, which suits plain gold. A diamond ring is different: its claws have to grip the stone for decades, and softer high-karat gold bends and wears faster. 18K is harder and costs less per gram, which is why it is the standard for diamond settings. At the 26 September rate it works out to about PKR 338,000 a tola.

How to check a stone before you pay for it

Every diamond we sell is graded by an independent laboratory — GIA, IGI or HRD — and the report belongs with the stone. The report number is what lets you verify the grades yourself on the laboratory's own website rather than taking a shop's word for them. Ask for it in writing before payment, and ask how the stone will be matched to its report; on many stones the number is laser-inscribed on the girdle.

One change worth knowing: for lab-grown diamonds, GIA reports issued since 1 October 2025 no longer give separate colour, clarity and cut grades. They rate the stone Premium or Standard on an overall assessment instead. A natural stone still carries the full grades, including a cut grade if it is a round brilliant.

Buying from Pakistan

Opened from Pakistan, prices across the site normally appear in rupees automatically, and the currency selector at the top of the page switches them at any time. Payment for Pakistan is arranged directly: you agree a fixed rupee figure with a jeweller on WhatsApp, which is how most of our orders close. A card payment at checkout is also possible, but it is processed in dirhams and your bank applies its own rate.

In Pakistan we deliver to Karachi and Lahore only. You pay a deposit by bank transfer when you order, and the balance in cash when the ring is handed to you, or by transfer if you prefer. The delivery cost, the date and the deposit are confirmed in writing before you pay anything. Every ring is made to order, so the ring you are quoted is built for you rather than taken from stock.

There is no showroom to visit. What replaces it is a jeweller on WhatsApp who will name the stone, the grades, the gold weight and the making charge in writing, and a laboratory report you can check yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a diamond ring in Pakistan?
From about PKR 212,000 for a complete ring set with small diamonds. A one-carat centre stone starts at about PKR 302,000 lab-grown or PKR 717,000 natural, converted from our live prices on 15 October 2026. Delivery to Karachi and Lahore is quoted separately before payment.

What is the price of a 1 carat diamond ring in Pakistan?
Most complete 18K rings with a one-carat centre stone fall between about PKR 302,000 and 378,000 lab-grown, and between about PKR 717,000 and 1,208,000 natural; more elaborate settings go higher. The spread comes from the setting: its design, gold weight and any side stones.

Why do other sites quote such different prices?
Because they are measuring different things: total carat weight rather than the centre stone, lab-grown quoted as natural, gold weight left out, and pages with no date on them. Ask for the stone, the gold weight and the making charge as three separate numbers.

What is the diamond price per carat in Pakistan?
There is no single rate. Unlike gold, which is quoted per tola every morning, diamonds have no public daily price: two stones of the same weight can differ threefold on colour, clarity and cut. The report for the specific stone is the only meaningful price check.

Is a lab-grown diamond real?
Yes. It is the same material as a mined diamond, with the same hardness and appearance, grown in a machine rather than in the ground. A laboratory can distinguish the two, and the report says which it is.

How do I know the diamond is what the seller says?
Ask for the laboratory report number before you pay, and check it on the laboratory's own website. Ask how the stone will be matched to its report.

Can I pay in rupees?
Yes. You agree a rupee figure on WhatsApp, pay a deposit by bank transfer when you order, and pay the balance in cash on delivery or by transfer. A card payment at checkout is processed in dirhams, so your bank converts at its own rate.

Do you deliver across Pakistan?
We deliver to Karachi and Lahore only. The cost and the date are confirmed in writing before you pay the deposit.

Do you offer cash on delivery?
Yes, after a deposit. Every ring is made to order, so you pay a deposit by bank transfer when you order, and the balance in cash when the ring is delivered in Karachi or Lahore.
