Diamond Rings in Fujairah

Diamond rings delivered to Fujairah start at AED 2,800 for a ring set with small diamonds, and a ring with a one-carat centre stone from AED 4,000 lab-grown or AED 9,490 natural, with 5% VAT and free insured delivery already inside the figure. In Fujairah, the phrase "just drive to Dubai and compare" stops being casual advice, and this page is written with that in mind.

Fujairah city's jewellery shops cluster on one road

This is not a criticism, it is just the shape of the place, and knowing it saves an afternoon. The branded jewellery in Fujairah city is concentrated along Hamad Bin Abdulla Road — the main east-west artery whose western end runs on as the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Expressway towards Dubai.

Lulu Mall sits on that road, and its own store directory lists Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, Damas, Suha Gold & Diamond, Jawahara Jewellery and Titan among its jewellery and watch tenants. TS Gold, a Dubai-based chain selling certified 21K and 18K pieces along with engagement rings and diamonds, gives its Fujairah address on the same road. Al Romaizan lists two east-coast branches: one on Hamad Bin Abdulla Road in the Mureished area of Fujairah city, and one in the centre of Dibba Al-Fujairah.

Two absences are worth knowing before you set out. Century Mall Fujairah lists no jewellery or gold retailer at all among the brands on its own website — its tenants include fashion, beauty and pharmacy stores, a Carrefour hypermarket and a cinema. And no official source attests a gold souq in Fujairah of the kind Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah have; the clusters you will find referenced online rest on business directories rather than any market authority.

The emirate's other malls are worth placing accurately. City Centre Fujairah opened in April 2012 under Majid Al Futtaim with 34,000 square metres of retail and 105 mid-market brands, 85 per cent of them new to Fujairah at the time, anchored by a Carrefour hypermarket. There is also a separate Fujairah Mall, distinct from Lulu Mall, Century Mall and City Centre. Pure Gold Jewellers lists a ground-floor shop at City Centre Fujairah on its own store locator; we could not confirm jewellery tenants at Fujairah Mall from its published directory, which is not the same as saying there are none — only that we will not tell you there are.

One more detail says something about the pace of retail here: Joyalukkas opened its Fujairah showroom on 29 October 2025, joining Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Damas and Al Romaizan, which already trade in the emirate.

What the drive to Dubai actually costs you

Central Dubai to Fujairah city is about 120 kilometres, roughly 88 minutes of driving in free-flow conditions across the Hajar mountains. That is the honest figure, computed on the real road network rather than quoted from a brochure — and "free-flow" is doing work in that sentence, because it assumes an empty road. You will occasionally see a half-hour figure quoted. That refers to the 45-kilometre Sheikh Khalifa Highway section through the mountains, not the whole trip.

It is worth remembering that this road is recent. The Sheikh Khalifa Highway linking Dubai and Fujairah opened on 4 December 2011 and cut twenty to thirty kilometres off the route. Within living memory, the east coast was considerably further from the Gold Souk than it is today. Since 30 June 2026 there is also a passenger rail option: Etihad Rail runs Abu Dhabi to Fujairah in one hour forty-five minutes, and Dubai station is scheduled to join the network on 30 September 2026.

So a comparison trip to Deira is most of a day, both ways, and it buys you the ability to compare quotes across many shops in one street. For gold sold by weight, that is genuinely valuable, because the daily rate is public and the only variable is the making charge. For a diamond it is worth much less: there is no published diamond rate to check anything against, and two stones of identical carat weight can differ threefold in price on colour, clarity and cut — differences you will not resolve standing at a counter. What protects a diamond buyer is the certificate and a written breakdown, and neither of those requires the drive.

What a certified ring costs, by the shape of the stone

Shape changes both how a stone looks and what it costs — a pear or an oval spreads the same carat weight over a larger face than a round brilliant, and cutting yield differs by shape.

Diamond shape Designs featuring this shape From (AED) Typical up to (AED)
Round brilliant 380 2,800 59,850
Pear 80 2,900 70,350
Marquise 56 2,930 62,790
Princess 54 3,210 46,060
Emerald cut 82 3,030 56,130
Cushion 54 4,070 38,350
Oval 84 4,150 58,570

Complete rings, made to order and delivered free to any Fujairah address, 5% VAT included. A design whose name or product tags mention more than one diamond shape (an oval centre with round side stones, say) is counted under each shape mentioned, and bands count too, so rows overlap. "Typical up to" is the price at or below which three-quarters of the listed options featuring that shape sit.

Why "local" is complicated on this coast

Fujairah is the only emirate whose coastline lies entirely on the Gulf of Oman rather than the Arabian Gulf, and Fujairah city is the only Emirati capital on the east coast, sitting at the foot of the Hajar mountains. Its shores run about seventy kilometres, from the city in the south to Dibba in the far north.

But the map along that stretch is not one emirate. Khor Fakkan is an exclave of Sharjah, geographically surrounded by Fujairah. Kalba and Dibba Al-Hisn are Sharjah municipalities on the same coastline. And Dibba itself is divided three ways: Dibba Al-Fujairah under Fujairah, Dibba Al-Hisn under Sharjah, and Dibba Al-Baya under the Governorate of Musandam in Oman.

That matters practically. Someone looking for gold shops in Dibba Al-Fujairah is looking in one third of a divided town. If you are in Dibba, the nearest jeweller may sit under a different emirate's authority than your address does. Buying against a certificate, with the price agreed in writing before anything is made, is the same transaction wherever on that coast you happen to live.

Why the east coast has fewer jewellers than you would expect

It is not neglect, it is arithmetic and history. The emirate's population reached 328,495 in mid-2025, with Fujairah City at 121,538, according to the Fujairah Statistics Centre — a fraction of the catchment a Dubai or Sharjah retailer serves. Large jewellery retailers open where the footfall is, and the east coast has less of it to offer.

The history compounds it. Fujairah was the last of the sheikhdoms to be recognised as a Trucial State, in 1952, and the modern connections are newer still: the international airport, the only national airport on the UAE's east coast, began operating in October 1987, and the highway that made Dubai a ninety-minute drive opened in December 2011. A retail sector has had rather less time to form here than on the other coast.

What the emirate does have is a different kind of weight. The Port of Fujairah describes itself as the only multi-purpose seaport on the UAE's eastern coastline, sitting seventy nautical miles from the Strait of Hormuz — one of the most consequential positions in global shipping. Inland the Hajar mountains give Fujairah more rainfall than the rest of the country, and Al Bidya Mosque, on the road north to Dibba, is the oldest existing mosque in the United Arab Emirates. This is not a place short of substance. It is a place short of jewellery counters, which is a much narrower problem, and a solvable one.

Buying without a counter

We have no walk-in showroom, in Fujairah or anywhere else, and it is better to say so than to imply otherwise; consultations happen on WhatsApp and video call. Tell us the stone or the design you have in mind and a jeweller will suggest options; to confirm a specific stone and its independent grading report (GIA, IGI or HRD) before ordering, ask on WhatsApp. The quote arrives itemised — the stone, the metal and the making charge — with the 5% VAT already inside the total rather than added at the door.

Our rings are made to order and arrive within 1 to 2 weeks of order confirmation; a ring designed for you from scratch takes 3 to 4 weeks. The finished ring travels fully insured, with FedEx or, for a high-value order, a secure valuables carrier, and must be signed for; once dispatched, it typically reaches any address in the emirate, including Dibba Al-Fujairah, in 1 to 3 business days. If you have a date in mind, tell us the date rather than the timeline, and we will say plainly whether it works.

Sizing is worth settling before you order, especially for a surprise. Our size guide explains how to measure a ring she already wears. Within 30 days of delivery, we cover the standard local market rate for one resize at a jeweller near you on eligible styles (pavé bands, eternity bands and any band with diamonds set along its surface cannot be resized); a resized ring counts as a custom order, so it is no longer eligible for the 21-day change-of-mind return.

What to ask before you pay anyone

  1. Which laboratory certified this stone, and may I see the report before paying? An independent laboratory such as GIA, IGI or HRD. An in-house report is a marketing document, not an independent grade.
  2. Is the report number inscribed on the diamond? If it is, you can confirm the stone in the ring is the stone on the paper; if not, ask how the stone will be matched to its report.
  3. What is the making charge, as its own number? Not folded into the gold. Without it you cannot compare two quotes.
  4. Is the 5% VAT inside this price, and is anything collected on delivery? With VYKA, for a UAE delivery: yes, and no.
  5. What grades are on the report for this specific stone? Carat, colour and clarity as single values, plus a cut grade if it is a round brilliant; for pear, oval and other fancy shapes, ask for the polish, symmetry and measurements instead. A range on a product page is a specification for the design; the report for the stone you are buying should show single grades, except a GIA report on a lab-grown stone issued since 1 October 2025, which rates it Premium or Standard instead.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy a diamond ring in Fujairah?
Branded jewellery is concentrated on Hamad Bin Abdulla Road in Fujairah city. Lulu Mall on that road lists Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, Damas, Suha Gold & Diamond, Jawahara Jewellery and Titan; TS Gold and Al Romaizan give addresses on the same road, and Al Romaizan also has a branch in Dibba Al-Fujairah.

Is there a gold souq in Fujairah?
No official source attests one of the kind Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah have. Century Mall Fujairah lists no jewellery or gold retailer among the brands on its own website. The practical jewellery cluster is the Hamad Bin Abdulla Road stretch.

How far is Fujairah from Dubai?
About 120 kilometres from central Dubai, roughly 88 minutes of driving in free-flow conditions over the Hajar mountains. The half-hour figure sometimes quoted refers to the 45-kilometre mountain highway section, not the whole journey.

Is it cheaper to buy a diamond in Dubai than in Fujairah?
Not inherently. Deira's many shops help with gold, where the rate is published daily and only the making charge varies. Diamonds have no published rate, so the certificate and a written breakdown do more for you than the location of the shop.

How much is a diamond ring delivered to Fujairah?
From AED 2,800 for a complete ring set with small diamonds. A ring with a one-carat centre stone starts at AED 4,000 lab-grown or AED 9,490 natural, with 5% VAT included and insured delivery at no extra cost.

Do you deliver to Dibba Al-Fujairah and the rest of the east coast?
Yes. Delivery is free, fully insured and signed for; once dispatched, transit is typically 1 to 3 business days anywhere in the UAE. Nothing is collected on arrival, because the 5% VAT is already inside the agreed price.

Can I check the diamond before I commit?
Loose diamonds on our site are listed with their grading report details, and the laboratory certificate for a ring's centre stone comes with the ring. To confirm a specific stone before ordering, ask a jeweller on WhatsApp.

How long does a ring take to reach Fujairah?
Rings are made to order and arrive within 1 to 2 weeks of order confirmation; once dispatched, transit is typically 1 to 3 business days.
