The Proposal

There is only one of her.

The Proposal

Design her ring with a real jeweller — a rare diamond shape, your words engraved inside, and a letter written by hand as you choose.

The atelier

Choose — and watch the letter write itself

Five gentle choices. Each one is written, by hand, into a letter for your jeweller.

Optional — but it lets the letter carry her name, and suggests engravings that are already yours.

The day — if you have chosen it

A rare cut is what makes her ring unrepeatable. We source shapes almost no one else in the Gulf offers — so no one else has her ring.

Her colour

Made to be worn every day for decades — when platinum scratches, the metal is displaced rather than lost, so it holds its prongs beautifully over time. Gold is lighter, warmer, and just as loved.

This is the part that makes it hers — a date, her name, or a few words only the two of you understand, engraved inside the band where she'll find it forever.

1
Borrow a ring she already wears

Take one from the finger she'd wear this on, measure the inside width against our size guide, and slip it back the same day.

2
Trace it on paper

Place a ring flat, draw around the inside circle, and send us a photo with a coin for scale.

3
Ask her closest friend

Her sister or best friend usually knows — or can ask without raising suspicion.

Not sure? Leave it — your jeweller confirms the exact size with you before anything is made.

Why hers will be one of one

No one else will ever wear this ring

A cut almost no one offers

Hexagon, kite, Dutch marquise — rare cuts sourced through our certified diamond network. Not in any mall, not on any other hand.

Your words, hidden inside

A date, a name, a phrase only the two of you understand — engraved inside the band, in English or Arabic, where she'll find it forever.

Platinum that lasts decades

Platinum is dense and holds its prongs — a scratch displaces the metal rather than removing it, which is why it wears so gracefully over decades.

Everything you might want to know

Which rare shapes can I actually get?

Beyond round, oval and cushion, we source shapes very few jewellers in the Gulf offer: hexagon, kite, marquise, pentagon, shield, half-moon, old-mine, trapezoid and more — including the elongated marquise cuts we are known for. A rare cut is exactly what makes her ring unrepeatable — genuinely one-of-a-kind rather than the same solitaire everyone else has. And her certificate number is one of one too: on most certified stones it's laser-inscribed on the girdle, invisible to the naked eye — her diamond's fingerprint.

What can I engrave, and is it included?

A date, her name, initials, a short phrase — in English or Arabic — engraved inside the band where only she will find it. It's the most personal part of the ring. Tell your jeweller the exact words on WhatsApp and they'll confirm placement and any character limits for your chosen band.

Platinum or gold — what lasts?

Platinum is naturally white, denser and more scratch-resistant, a wonderful everyday choice. 18K gold (white, yellow or rose) is a little lighter and beautifully warm; white gold carries a rhodium finish a jeweller refreshes over time. Your jeweller matches the metal to how she lives and her skin tone.

How do I find her size without her knowing?

Borrow a ring she already wears on the finger she'd wear this one on, measure the inside width against our size guide, or photograph it next to a coin for scale and send us the number. You can also ask her closest friend. Don't worry about perfection — your jeweller confirms the exact size with you before anything is made.

Are VAT and customs included in the price?

Yes. Every VYKA price is all-in: VAT and customs duty are already included and are never added at checkout or on delivery. The price you agree on is the price that arrives, beautifully packaged, to you in the UAE and across the Gulf.

How does the whole process work?

Design here, then send your letter on WhatsApp or email. Your jeweller sources options for your shape and diamond, sets your engraving, shares certificates and an all-in quote, and only proceeds once you're happy. Your ring is then made and delivered to your door — timed for the moment you have in mind.

How much should I spend?

There's no rule — forget the old "months of salary" myth. VYKA solitaire engagement rings start around AED 3,000 all-in, and the diamond you choose sets the rest. Tell your jeweller your budget — it stays private, and they'll put every dirham where it shows.

When should I start?

Earlier than you think — rare cuts take time to source well. Tell your jeweller the date you're dreaming of and they'll plan backwards from it, keeping everything in one private chat until the moment arrives.

What happens after she says yes?

If the size needs adjusting, talk to your jeweller — most VYKA settings can be resized, and they will confirm what is possible for your chosen band. Her diamond's certificate stays with her, and your jeweller stays one message away for cleaning and care advice whenever she needs it.
